Philodendron "Hope" 4.5" Pot

Big tropical personality, one leaf at a time

Philodendron ‘Hope’ brings lush, sculptural greenery to your indoor space with glossy green leaves and beautifully ruffled, lobed edges. Start this young plant on a bright tabletop, then enjoy watching its foliage develop a bolder silhouette as it matures. It is a wonderful way to bring a little tropical drama into an everyday room.

Unlike climbing philodendrons, ‘Hope’ grows from a central crown into a broad, self-heading plant. Young leaves may have gentler curves, while more mature foliage develops deeper lobes. Give it room to spread and it can become a striking leafy accent over time.

• Available Size: 4.5-inch nursery pot.
• Light: Bright, indirect light encourages strong growth. Protect from harsh direct afternoon sun.
• Water: Allow the top 1–2 inches of potting mix to dry before watering thoroughly. Let excess water drain, and avoid leaving the pot standing in water.
• Soil: An airy, well-draining potting mix rich in organic matter, in a container with drainage holes.
• Humidity: Adapts to typical household humidity and appreciates moderate to higher humidity.
• Temperature: Keep comfortably warm and protect from cold drafts and drying vents.
• Feeding: Feed lightly during active spring and summer growth, following the fertilizer label.
• Growth Habit: Upright and spreading rather than vining. Allow space for its arching leaf stems; growth rate, leaf shape, and eventual size vary with care and conditions.
• Pet Note: Not safe to chew or eat. Keep away from pets and children.

A rewarding choice for plant lovers who enjoy watching a small starter grow into a bold indoor statement.
