Aster 'Wood's Pink' #1

Aster ‘Wood’s Pink’ brings a fresh flush of color to the garden as summer winds down. Clear pink, semi-double daisies with golden-yellow centers bloom above glossy dark green foliage, forming a compact mound that fits beautifully along sunny paths and at the front of perennial borders. Tuck it beside ornamental grasses for a soft late-season pairing, and enjoy the butterflies that visit its blooms.

A cultivated variety of North American native bushy aster, commonly listed as Aster dumosus (now Symphyotrichum dumosum), rather than the straight wild species.
