Nandina 'Firepower' #3

Nandina ‘Firepower’ brings changing foliage color to the garden in a compact, rounded package. Fresh green leaves provide a soft, layered texture through the warmer months, then take on brilliant red tones as temperatures cool. Tuck it along a walkway, group it at the front of a shrub border, or use it as a colorful accent in a well-drained patio container.

• Mature Size: Approximately 2–3 feet tall and wide
• Light: Full sun to partial shade; brighter light generally encourages stronger foliage color
• Foliage: Green in warmer weather, turning red in fall and winter; color varies with light and temperature
• Growth Habit: Compact, rounded dwarf shrub
• Seasonal Interest: Grown primarily for foliage rather than flowers or berries
• Available Size: #3 container (3 gallon)

Plant in well-drained soil and water regularly while roots become established. Once established, provide additional water during prolonged dry spells. Little pruning is needed; remove damaged stems and lightly thin if necessary rather than shearing the foliage. Evergreen to semi-evergreen depending on winter conditions.
